Happy Thanks Giving

I hope all who celebrated had a great time! We traditionally do not celebrate Thanks Giving, but a nice meal and be thankful is not too hard to fit adopt. So this is the first year we celebrated (and the first time in my life I prepared a whole chicken - family didn't want a turkey). In case you are looking at the day we were a day early as my son has a soccer tournament and the girls and I visited the neighbors in their 2nd home at the lake (pictures to come)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Well done on cooking the chicken! I don't eat meat, but I am curious about the other dishes I can see on the table. What's in the yellow and the white bowl ? and I am so nosey to know what is in the pot with the lid on!

You didn't surprise me by telling you do not eat meat @stephanies. And don't worry about being nosy... : yellow bowl - some leftover lettuce from the day before, white bowl mashed potatoes, pot with lid peas and carrots and you probably recognized the pity 2 potatoes in front of the pot with lid - especially for our oldest who prefers that above mashed potatoes.

Lol, thanks for telling Ingrid! I saw the 2 boiled potatoes, but I would go with the mash every time, especially with lots of creamy milk and butter smashed in!
