Yesterday and today the firetruck brought a visit to the pre-school (6 months - 5yrs old kids) I'm subbing. Because I'm in mothers-day-out class this week with a Monday/Wednesday/Friday group and a Tuesday/Thursday group I got to go both days.
Yesterday one fireman showed the kids how to put on all his gear. Because he also put on his mask and oxygen tank I found it very interesting, but it was a bit scary for some of the kids . Today it was another crew, but I think they passed the message on... this time only trousers, jacket and helmet were put on...
Officially I'm not allowed to have my phone with me, but quickly took a pic with it, making sure no kiddo's were in it.
Awesome! When I was teaching we always had a firetruck come for Fire Prevention Week which is this week, right? The students always thoroughly enjoyed their visit. :-)
