We had a big block party to celebrate a year after Harvey. I signed up to make dessert. Most people make brownies for dessert, so I wanted something different, but because it was still warm (about 90F / 32C) my choice was limited. In the end I went for very simple coconut macaroons. It was a success and they are super easy to make, so this will be my new favorite recipe!
