We have a piggy-bank in our living room in which we empty out wallets every now and then. At the middle school there is every year a fundraiser for childhood cancer in which students need change. The class with the most pennies wins. Students can "block" other classes pennies by giving them bigger coins. The bigger coins cancel out the pennies. It is a lot of fun and they raise a lot of money. Looking at what we have already my daughter can do a lot of "blocking" :) Not sure when the fundraiser will be yet.
