Dino loves to jump on the rim and walk in the sand, but about a week ago arches appeared. That was not a big problem as I could take his leash through. However, now they have started to string in lights and unfortunately he has to walk on the pavement.
First I was wondering why they were doing this. Diwali was last Sunday, so they were a little late for that and they would be very early for Christmas, especially because that is not a big thing here. Then somebody told me it is for Oman National Day, which will be celebrated on November 18th.
For anybody wondering what the white stuff on the walkway is. It is kind of chalk. They put it to mark an electricity line and sometimes they have opened it up to look at it. Not sure what they are exactly doing, but it is a work in progress.
