I still have a few more pictures from my hike, but today I had to post this...
On the 2nd of December the beaches were open for public again after almost 2 months. So Yelena and her friend Emma wanted to go and I was happy to take them last Friday.
Emma has an inflatable peddle board and the girls had so much fun they wanted to go again today. It was still cloudy and it seemed pretty cold (Sea temp 20C / outside 26C), so I decided not to go in and take pictures.
When I opened them on my computer Yelena and I had big a laugh about this one. This was just a lucky shot, because I was at least 10 meters away...
I think you made the right decision not to go in too judging by Yelena's expression. It looks cold but I think over here we'd think 20C in the water was like a warm bath haha!
@louannwarren Hi Lou Ann, You are so right that Nadya would love this too! Unfortunately she is still stuck in Dallas... she has a visa and a ticket, but she tested positive before flying... She retested and this morning the result came back positive for the 2nd time. She and the 3 girls in her house are fine - only one had cold-like symptoms. If Nadya had not taken the test before flying they would have never know/noticed... Because we are over 10 days into this story, she is doing a commercial test on Monday and we hope the result is negative and she can come...
@ingrid01 oh my. My granddaughter’s roommate caught Covid and went home. Cadence and the other two roommates scoured the apartment and self isolated for 7 days. None of them tested positive. We do think the testing is flawed! I hope she gets there soon. 🤗
