I will give this process ONE last chance. One. This wouldn't even scan in b&w - wow am I not impressed. To see anything I had to play with sliders or whatever you can them. HP5 ( waste of good film) even shot it at 300 asa to get a bit more ooomph. Developed in caffenol ( all the proper stuff - no fizzy shit this time) Stand developed for 70 minutes. Washed and fixed - then dropped it on fluffy carpet taking it through to dry - by this stage I was nearly jumping up and down with a horrible sense of failure. I am going to try printing these up the trad way - I need to get something out of this - this was a really cool bike in a war building and thankfully I took my iphone - will upload some to extra album - if you'd like to be able to actually see the picture

Try laying down different color filters in order to bring some of the lost detail back in. Try laying down red green blue layers, mix them with different blending in photoshop, and see if you cant salvage what you have. Regardless, I think it looks pretty cool, just need some contrast, and clarity to bring out the bike from the foreground.
@steampowered I'm fine really, but it was frustrating - I think film must arouse similar emotions to gambling ( only experience i have of that is ebay). !! @peterdegraaff So true Peter - but the last time I got zilch so may drop iso by a few stops and try that! @pfassett Thanks Paul - off to darkroom to try printing see what happens!
Hahaha!! You make me laugh so much, I can practically hear you ranting lol! i love this & i actually think the fluff off the carpet adds something :))))
Sounds really difficult, love the colours in this though, hope things have calmed down a bit for you now, the frustrations of the true artist. Well done luv. Fav.
