boat curve

feeling great about not smoking, quite enjoying my smoke free status and i'm sure my husband who is still a stinking pariah isn't getting pissed off in the slightest. i really should watch though, i think the flu has played havoc with my taste buds, vinegar smells incredibly strange and acrid, that is doing my head in as I love vinegar and will drink it given the chance. maybe if things start smelling normal again then cigs will smell nice?? nah - don't think so. old pinhole that I've just scanned and warmed up a bit tonally. starting to get a bit more light thankfully and really looking forward to a drive after work to get photos.
coffeecan, ilford paper, 12 sec exposure
What a great shot!

Loving your pinhole stuff. And the subject here looks great with the technique.

Fantastic Ingrid, fave!

Love the curve in this. Can I ask you a polaroid camera question? Would it be worth me spending £9.99 on a 600 polaroid camera in Oxfam? Looks like it would work. In a box with instruction manual. Would I be able to get film/paper for it without spending a fortune?

@rachelwithey you can get 600 film from the impossible project - NOT cheap though https://shop.the-impossible-project.com/shop/film/600/fi_600_1_imp_600_color_mum
and that is for 8 shots :(
check it out on amazon too as the p&p from impossible is really high and only worth it if you're buying several packs

a tenner is ok though and they are fun - if price were really a factor then none of us would be here. it is possible to pick up original 600 polaroid film on ebay however keep in mind the last use by date was for 2009 and quality deteriorates. worth a tenner and a pack of film. :)

@rachelwithey Do NOT look at this page with all the fun things you can do, could get very expensive. Have a daughter? Put it down to "Educational Expenses"

Wonderfully done Ingrid, this has the qualities of a shot taken in the 1800s. Fav.

Congrats on the smoking! Funny you mention the smells. I think I have a touch of the flu and certain smells are driving me over the edge. Toast this morning was horrible!!!

Very cool photo. I bought a pack of paper last year with thoughts of enlarging. I just can't bring myself to try it on my own. Not sure, really, what I think I'm going to mess up. Anyway, I should build a little pinhole camera since I have a paper surplus at this point.

This is excellent.

I love this, the curve of the lines really adding to the composition. it has a lovely antique look to it. It's amazing detail for such a simple camera design that's been around for 3000 years (more or less, I don't think they had coffee cans in Persia back then).

I'm getting my first pinhole shots back in a few days, which should be interesting...

I am always so fascinated and envious of your ability to work and develop film amd your shots are brilliant and have this feeling of a different era! glad the smoke free days are ok :-)

Perfect subject for these pinholes!! When I first stopped everything tasted crap & bland, I had to add salt & sugar to stuff! which I never normally do! Seems ok now thow :-)
