This tree-lined road is a bit of a rarity in Shetland, so it was one of the places we wanted to see on our last day here. The coastal scenery of the islands is spectacular and there are so many fields and hedgerows with an abundance of wild flowers but the landscape does look bare without trees.
Here we found a lovely woodland scene with bluebells in full bloom, wood sorrel and wild garlic.
Didn't quite manage to see everything today - I think it's a good idea to have a few things on the list for the next time!
