Not what I was going to post today but I took this tonight and changed my mind.
This is my friend's son sitting on top of a street sculpture outside LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) where we'd just watched him in the children's dance and musical theatre show, I was so proud of him, he was brilliant!
The suitcases 'belong' to people who have an historical connection with this area of Liverpool, including Paul McCartney and George Harrison who went to school at the Liverpool Institute here and John Lennon who went to the Liverpool Art School next door. Paul McCartney helped set up and fund LIPA in his old school and presents the graduates with their degrees every year. Shame he couldn't make it for tonight's performance, he missed a real treat!
