Stinky Bob by inthecloud5

Stinky Bob

A brief burst of sunlight on a rainy day highlighted the detail of this Herb-Robert (or Stinky Bob) on the wall of a country churchyard in a Lake District village this afternoon.

The plant is known for its bad smell when the leaves are crushed. According to my research, if I'd tested this out today I would have been repellent to mosquitos. I just hope Stinky Bob is around next time the mozzies are heading my way.
Fantastic lighting, detail and contrast. Fav

Great shot, wonderful lighting. I will have to try that tip, I don't often get bite, some people don't, but it's worth trying. Might empty some hides, another bonus. Lol.
