We went for a quick walk around the Festival Gardens this afternoon, I wanted to try out a lens I hadn't used for a while to see if was worth keeping.
Quite a few flowers are still blooming, I think this anemone is almost at the end, but I thought it still looked quite pretty.
I remembered why I didn't like the lens it as soon as I started using it. It's very slow to focus and the results are not that sharp. I'm trading it in for a better zoom lens that I can use for garden photography
Thanks for everyone's comments and favs on recent photos, struggling to keep up at the moment but will hopefully have more time for commenting next week.
@marshwader it was the Panasonic Lumix 14-140 which I was using on my Olympus camera, they are supposed to be compatible but I don't think it was an ideal combination. Compared to the Olympus lens it was very slow. I quite like this shot but it wasn't enough to persuade me to keep it so I part exchanged it for a Nikon lens for my DSLR.
