This week's lone tree, like the sycamore from my last post, is also one the most photographed in Britain. This view of Buttermere in the Lake District is one of my favourite places so I really don't mind seeing it so often. Every time it's photographed it looks different, the time of year, time of day and the weather make each one unique.
Today we enjoyed a hike up to one of the hills in the distance before we walked back around the lake to look back on where we'd been.
Thanks for all your comments on last week's photo, really good to be back. Going to be intermittent for a while yet but enjoying looking in from time to time.
