During our snow day yesterday, I brought up 3 huge Rubbermaid boxes, full of Halloween costumes, out of the basement. Gracie was growing more and more depressed by the moment when she could not find the perfect costume. (She wanted to be Hermione from Harry Potter) A set of wings that I had purchased last year, after Halloween, caught her eye. I took her upstairs to make some alterations to the straps (aka - sew some on). We decided to go all out and put poder in her hair and face, eyeliner on her eyes, and black lipstick lips. We then decided she should test out her wings to make sure they work.
