"Before and Now"

In the pictures on the left, I was wearing a size 2X shirt, a size 18 pants, and I did NOT want my picture taken. That was 6 months ago, in July, AFTER losing the first 17 pounds.

The picture on the right was taken this morning and I am wearing a size Medium shirt, a size 6 pair of jeans and I still did not want my picture taken because I felt like an idiot. My natural path in life has always been "behind" the camera. And, look, I wasn't even doing anything cool like juggling or posing next to David Hasselhoff. Awkward!

Last time I checked, I had 30 pounds to lose. I am trying to focus more on how I feel and see myself so I haven't weighed myself in a while. When all is said and done, I will have lost 110 pounds since giving birth to Phoebe and 87 since I started this process. This is not a diet but a change in the way I live. Healthy eating choices good ol' fashioned hard work and sweat. Lots and lots of that last part.

My plan was to put two pictures together and be done with it - a "Before" and a "Forever After". I'll still do that but since I have had so many requests, here is a "Before and Now"....
AWESOME JOB ASHLEE! You have proven to yourself, your kids and EVERYONE that it is possible to eat right, exercise and lose weight after having kids - no matter how many you have!

That is SO awesome. I started my weight loss journey again as well.... I have lost 14 pounds in the last 9 months and have another 20-25 to go. I gain a LOT of weight during pregnancy... way to go!!! Keeps me inspired. :)

you look wonderful and you are so inspiring to me, I began my lifestyle changes this week. I need to lose over 140lbs to get to a healthy weight and due to health issues (strangely not weight relatedlol) I can't do too much of the sweat part, so its food habits and such to get me going and then gentle exercise. seeing this photo tonight really reminded me of why I was doing this and congrats to making good lifestyle changes rather than crash dieting :D

Wow you look absolutely amazing - you should be very very proud of yourself. You are an inspiration to anyone who wants to start a healthy path in life. It is not the numbers but more importantly how YOU feel. Beautiful :)
