Pablo in the rising sun. He like to retreat to the same perch in this tree and peer at me from behind the branches. I am also fully aware that he is watching for signs of early morning life in the trees around him. This is a little unsettling to me but it is nature at its finest. And it just can't get much better than that.
He is a very handsome gentleman and you have caught that wonderfully, fav. I sometimes wish nature did not have t be quite so "red in tooth and claw" (sigh)--but humans are worse, and with far less excuse.
