Deed

It is sometimes funny what memories a word can trigger. When I read this word in the list I remembered that I bought a deed in a little secondhand bookshop in the south of the United Kingdom approximately 35 years ago. I was on holiday and the fact that it was so old (1788) and written on vellum made it for me a great souvenir. I followed calligraphy lessons back home and the writing appealed to me.
What a wonderful memory!
