Was the prompt of the day. I don’t approve of fishing for sport and show the poor fish out of the water for a camera. But it was the first thing that popped into my mind for this prompt after a black vinyl record. At least it was a good exercise for painting
that's a big carp! yes, i'm with you. i prefer my fish in my plate with trimmings and not see its poor eyes and its mouth quivering. this is a superb rendition, as always, especially the fish! big ACES to you, my good friend.
Beautifully painted. You seem to be taking painting very seriously recently - well done for that. I agree with you about fishing just for fun as much as I don't like hunting or trapping for the same reason.
