Mary asked me to take a photo and process it in two ways, one in color, and the other B&W and make a diptych of them. The more different in style and mood from each other they are, the better—not just a matter of saturation.
Our neighbors hired a gardener to take down a tree and it was fascinating to see how this young man worked.
For the b&w one I used a watercolour effect and a vignet.
For the colour one I used a series of filters until I got a kind of stained glass effect.
