When hubby went for a ride on his bike I had some time to make this. Those old metal jugs standing on stones near a little stream, old wooden door and walls with those big stones and yellowish cement in between. Some grasses and other plants in between the stones or standing in the water.
Jacqueline, this is gorgeous. And so are the first two you posted. I love love love them. I was hoping for you to share the paintings you do. Are you using a sketchbook?
@monikozi Hi Monika, I bought a sketchbook for watercolour paintings with thick paper
So I can use both sides of the paper. The brand is Hahnemühle. I have also a few paper blocks from them and they are really good. Much better than some of the Dutch brands of paper. There is so much to learn with this type of painting but good paper is worth every cent I spend on it.
I see. Thanks for the details. Yes, you are sooo right. For watercolour paper is so important. I made a sketchbook from a block from Hahnemühle, as I wanted the papers together. It is terrific. Unfortunately I have no idea which block it was. And I also use both sides of the paper.
