Branches across its little face, but this time I had the window open, so it's less fuzzy than the previous cardinal shot I posted. I love these birds so much, and their singing in the morning is so sweet. I'm delighted to have them in my back yard, even if they are, for the moment, very elusive and really quick to fly off if they catch a flash of lens!
@amandal Must check yours out Amanda! I haven't been online - I was cycling yesterday ... managed my 70 miles in 4 and a half hours, so quite pleased. Very average, I know, but at my age, I'm happy with average. I think the cardinals are more bothered by a flash of lens than actually seeing me or hearing me at the back of the house, but I think they are gradually getting used to me. I will keep trying!
I love cardinals too. I like the way this one has branches in front of him--somehow that emphasizes his elusiveness. Also love the red among the dark branches and grey background. Fav for me Issi!
