This is a time of year (1 August-1 September) where participating restaurants put on special menus and every time they sell a meal from that menu they donate $5 to the Houston Food Bank. It's a great idea, I think, and we're doing lots of donating at the moment as it is our last week in Houston and we're doing a lot of eating out with friends! :-)
