The Many Faces of Picasso

Regardless of everything going on in Paris yesterday, a friend and I went to the 4th Arrondissement to visit the recently renovated Picasso Museum. I put together a few photographs that I took of some of his paintings. Love Picasso or not, his paintings are definitely interesting. Personally, I prefer his earlier work.
Nice collection of paintings!

I've been thinking about you all day! Glad to see you out there doing normal things... Not sure I could be that brave!

"Guernica" made a deep impression on me when I was younger. Great collage, Issi!

I wonder what Picasso would paint in expression of what's happened in Paris. Nice, wide selection of his work in this collage.

Good for you to go on with your life. I thought it was interesting on the live coverage that cars were driving by and people were walking around the areas where the journalists were. Lucky you could take photos in the museum. Nice collage.

@seejillrun You can't let them dictate your life to you. The attacks have been 'targeted' though, not random, so I didn't feel at all at risk. @lyndemc I wonder indeed Denise! Good point.

@juliedduncan Had 'Guernica' been one of the exhibits in this museum, I would have had to post that image Julie ... it would have been so appropriate for what has been happening in Paris recently.

@jamibann I know you are right! I just have a tendency towards worrying about things needlessly. It's something I've been working on... I', actually loads better at not worrying than I used to be!

Paris is going through some rough times, to say the least. All the best to you there. I think this is a fitting image.

I'm not a big fan of his, but his stuff can be interesting; and art can be a consolation when dreadful things are happening.
