Escargot by jamibann

Escargot

I could say that I found this little guy wandering around the garden, but the truth is that I found this guy's shell when I was wandering around the garden looking for something to 'shoot'! Cleaned him up a bit and placed him on a branch, and voila!
I like the depth of field and your focus point.

I would prefer it turned around with butter and garlic... great find and capture.

A shell's colors, patterns and designs are honestly quite intriguing. Your up-close photo provides the chance to really study the details. (I like the texture of the wood it's on too.)

@anazad511 Ha ha Ana! I'm not so keen on eating them ... they're just a bit rubbery for my liking! I'm also not so keen on them in the garden as they ruin all the plants. But they make quite a good subject for a 365 photo!

@lyndemc Thanks Denise. The wood is a branch of our wisteria tree. I'll hopefully get some shots of the blossom in the future. I love it.

I like the colors in this image a lot. There is texture and even a shiny reflection in the center of the shell. Beautiful image. Fav

A pretty little shell, the centre looks almost pearlised. I like how you have set this up.
