My son Alexander gave me these many years ago ... Guatemalan Worry Dolls. They are each about an inch high. According to legend, Guatemalan children tell one worry to each doll when they go to bed at night and place the dolls under their pillow. In the morning the dolls have taken their worries away. Even though I am a worry bug, I don't actually put them under my pillow, but I love them because they do make me think of my son, who is currently on a rugby tour in Spain. Now, why would I be worrying about that?!
What a wonderful composition and capture. Love how you arranged them over a rough surface and with natural lighting. The story is so b, I had not heard it. Good wishes to your son in Spain.
Love your photo and the story that goes with it! He is currently in Spain?
