This is a new plant in our garden. I completely cut back a 6-foot high bush of rosemary - leaving only the wooden 'stems' which I liked the look of. I don't think it will grow back, so my idea is to encourage this clematis to climb up the skeleton of the former rosemary, using it as a frame. It's working so far.
