Our daughter is back from Phoenix and we have her home in Scotland for 8 days before her next challenge. This makes me very happy. :-) The wee black car is hers - her first car. Her luggage has doubled since she left in July last year, and she is now is the proud owner of a beautiful set of Ping golf clubs (which we're hoping to see in action this afternoon).
Ah...a family that golfs together -- so wonderful!! You have to be so proud of her! And she's lucky to be in Scotland instead of Phoenix at this time of year!
What a wonderful life experience she'll look back on for a lifetime! It's wonderful that young people today don't hesitate to see the world before settling down! She's a lovely girl and I totally know the pleasure you have in having her home with you!
@desertaura She was doing an internship with Ping Golf Beverly, as par at of her degree in Product Design Engineering. She was working on the design and testing of golf clubs, and she had a great year. ... She's come back as a golfer ... she left as someone who played golf. We've played twice since she came back to Scotland, and she's beaten me both times. It's a pleasure to see her swing though. :-)
