Sticking with the winter fruit topic. I love these too, although they are 'footerie' to eat. One can keep me busy for a whole evening! ;-)
For those not of Scottish descent ... there's a new word for you! Footerie. It means 'awkward, tricky, not easy'. It's much more descriptive than any of those though. And here's the thing ... I checked on its origins and found this : 'Footer appears to have a rather unusual French connection. It is thought to be associated with the Old French word foutre, which, in turn, comes from the Latin word futuere, meaning, of a man, to have sex with.' Who knew?
Really interesting focus to match the really interesting word. Love the cheery reds and the hint of the whole pomegranate - your lighting is great - now I'm trying to think of a way to use the new word I've learned!
