Le Moulin de Valmy, Marne

One of my cycling buddies, Chantal, in front of the Moulin de Valmy.

This windmill is at least the fourth to be built on this spot since the 16th Century, the first having been destroyed in the Battle of Valmy in 1792 and the third destroyed in a storm in 1999. This particular one was inaugurated in 2005 and is identical to the 18th Century windmill.
