Chateau de St Germain en Laye

It was a bit of a 'dreich' day yesterday, so I didn't go cycling and instead went for a walk with friends in the gardens and forest around the Chateau de St. Germain en Laye. The weather improved drastically throughout the morning, and on our return I was presented with this view of the castle as we re-entered the gardens. It's a truly splendid building with a long and interesting history. The exterior is currently being cleaned, and you can see the scaffolding on the right hand side.
