I mentioned that I'd spent Wednesday afternoon painting the garage door. Well, I've been doing quite a lot of outdoor painting during this fine spell of weather, so thought this morning's photo could be a selfie of me starting work again - on the gate. I need to tackle the front fence next ... that will be more difficult as it basically needs replacing as lots of the slats are rotten. But having received a quote for replacing the fence, we have decided to 'tart' up the existing one. It's still functional and will last a few more years. That'll give us time to decide what we plan to do with this house longer term.
Lovely looking gate. Looks like the weather was also being kind. I have to tackle a painted iron fence and gate that needs some rust treatment before any painting can be done. Plus best to wait until the end of the rainy season.
