Yesterday morning I went to visit the newly renovated Musée Maillol, to see an exhibition by Ben Vautier, a Franco-Swiss artist. Known simply as 'Ben' his art perpetuates the idea that a work of art is recognisable by its signature rather than its form. I have to say, it's not my kind of art - all way too abstract and 'off the wall' for me, but I do like his writing and his signature images. A fun morning!
