British Library by jamibann

British Library

On our way home from Sheffield, we had an overnight stay in London.

This statue of Isaac Newton sits at the British Library on Euston Road, and was created by Eduardo Paolozzi, a Scottish sculptor and artist and a son of Italian immigrants.
Fascinating and more than a little intimidating! Beautifully composed.

Wow! Quite an impressive statue! I was curious to see what it looks like from the sides and back so I checked out more images of this sculpture online. Truly amazing! It was interesting to read the background information and what the sculpture is based on. Fantastic capture! :-)
