Some of hubby's half of the family. A quick photo taken as our 'kids' were leaving for the airport on Sunday. Three of the above live in Northern Ireland, others in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sheffield, Oslo and Paris. It's the upside of a funeral - a family gathering.
A lovely capture, it’s sad but true, we turned it round by having a celebration each year, a family gathering that everyone enjoys, we have just had our 8th gathering a few weeks ago. It’s such a nice way to keep in touch.
This is a wonderful family photo! Yes, funerals usually bring the entire family together for an unplanned visit. During those visits, it's nice to get back in touch with loved ones and renew family ties. As you say, the positive side of a very sad event.
