Fondation Louis Vuitton

Yesterday afternoon's outing was to the Fondation Louis Vuitton, a modern art museum in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris. I love the building itself, designed by US architect Frank Gehry, but I also love some of the exhibitions which pass through. The current exhibition is entitled 'In Tune With The World' and features various different worldwide artists; my favourite being Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. It was incredibly quiet yesterday, and I don't know why - you can see that from the lack of people around the building. I wasn't complaining though, it was lovely to enjoy the space to wander around the exhibits.
Lovely B&W

Gehry is such a distinctive architect. Your composition conveys his artistry (and yours).

That's a remarkable structure. Miss visits to art gallery in Aberdeen as currently closed for extensive refurbishment.

Wonderful architecture, did you know that Frank was born in Toronto, Canada and considered a Canadian American?

Awesome capture of this fantastic building! So wonderful that you were there on a quiet day . . . as you say, it's so much easier to see and enjoy the exhibits if it's not crowded. :-)
