Just a diary shot which hubby took yesterday. I attacked the repainting of the shed doors yesterday as our builder didn't turn up and so there was no dust kicking about. I was just getting started here, by removing some of the loose paint.
The outside of our house is still not finished ... I am seriously losing patience. The back is almost complete - but we still cannot use our carport as they haven't removed the tree roots and flattened out the entry area. It's so frustrating - that's two months we've been back now, and I'm sure there's only about 3 days work to be done, if only they'd get on with it! Things move forward very slowly here, I'm beginning to realise. Fortunately the quality is good, which kind of makes up for it. Feeling frustrated!
Building works are frequently frustrating, especially when the workers don't prioritise the things you would prefer them to! Hope it all comes together soon for you. It'll be nice when it's finished!
I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, you have to abide by their time and they know it. But it's good you could get in with painting with no dust.
I feel for you and can so relate. It took forever for those final things to get done in our house and it was such a helpless feeling. Good luck to you!
