I popped down to Edinburgh yesterday to meet with 'The Mongol Rally Mums' - two friends and a mutual support group from when our sons were driving from Aberdeen to Mongolia, in an old wreck of a car, almost 3 years ago. It was bonding (and worrying) experience for us mums, and we have kept in touch ever since, meeting up occasionally. I stayed overnight in Edinburgh as I wanted to do some things there. This was the skyline this morning as I walked along Princes street on my way to breakfast.

Edinburgh is a fabulous city. I hope were able to take Susannah down for her flight back to Amsterdam after the holidays.
Oh what a treat, Edinburgh is a beautiful city & you have captured this early morning sky at its best! We really enjoyed our stay there recently. Mums looking after mums...would be such a bond together while trying to keep strong for your boys! Glad you’ve kept in touch!
