Deep & Crisp & Very Uneven

We had a super walk yesterday afternoon, although we ended up doing a lot more than we had anticipated. We planned to walk up Craig Coillich (400m), an easy walk. However, having done that we passed the bottom of Pannanich Hill (600m) and thought we'd just 'nip up to the top' on our way past ... it was harder work than we expected due to the depth of snow at the top. A fun walk though!
Wow, that does look significant depth! Just so wonderful though. It's what I do while my boys ski in Austria, put on my snow boots, get out my poles and go hiking. It makes you feel so alive!

That snow is looking very deep Issi. Great idea following in hubby's tracks to make it easier for you and so you can capture this fantastic shot too. :)

Gosh, what a workout! Glad you made it back safely. I like the light on the foreground with the mountain in the back deep in shade.

Beautiful scenery while walking - that was some work though with snow that deep - you can tell the depth so well against his legs.
