Hama - Nuart 2019 Aberdeen

The last Nuart street art image that I'm going to post for the moment. This one is by another Norwegian Street artist, Hama Woods, and is situated on Crooked Lane. The Leopard has pride of place on Aberdeen's coat of Arms and so is an appropriate choice. At first I was annoyed that I couldn't get an image without a car in it, but finally decided that there was something interesting about keeping the car there - the Leopard looks as if he's about to step onto the roof, I thought.
I see the leopard as about to step on the roof too. My memories of Aberdeen are very grey. This colourful graffiti must be brightening it up no end.

lovely art. Sometimes the passers by and their junk just make the photo!

More impressive art. Amazing. The car helps give a sense of the size of the artwork.

Yes, it does look like it will step on (and perhaps squash) the roof of the car. I think the car reinforces the fact that this is street art.

I think the car is integral to the composition. It's fantastic!

I agree with other comments, the car adds a dimension to the picture that the artist seems to have anticipated.
