@vignouse@taffy Yes, I should have picked a better spot for that photo, but it just happened to be where he was painting at the time. I really notice those signs now - every time I leave the house! There is an old church across our road, which has been turned into a bed and breakfast and cafe/restaurant. The signs, carefully angled, catch both directions of traffic. Fortunately they're not neon flashing signs! :-)
@jamibann Ah, totally makes sense, but definitely apologies about putting the signs in a major way on your radar!! Funny how we can let familiar sights literally fade into the background in our minds! And it sounds like a really interesting place to stay.
