One of my personal favourite Donegal views. The beach at Portnoo. You can walk to the island of Inishkeel at low tide. We've spent many a moment on this beach with our kids - it's a lovely sandy spot, sheltered by Dunmore head.
That's beautiful. There's something magical about the western coastal areas of Scotland and Ireland where the Atlantic washes the land and the soft blues and greens and greys become part of you, particularly if you have memories of childhood or family times there.
Oh I love this area of Donegal although we know the peninsula just north of this best...Cruit Island, Kincasslagh, Such gorgeous empty beaches! Lucky you there this beautiful weather! Enjoy...big favourite!
