Cuteness Overload

We went for a wee walk along the river yesterday to relax a bit after a day of wall-building! We both confessed to seeing stones on the riverside and wondering where we might place them in our wall! We'll be seeing stones in our sleep soon. It's progressing though and the weather is holding.

These fellows caught my attention as we passed through their field on the way to the river. They've fairly grown, and they have lost their newborn cuteness, but they're still delightful and so nosy!
This is wonderful seen on the Black. Dear wee lambies!

They are so cute. Take a wheelbarrow if you want to collect stones you don't want to get a hernia. Hope your wall is repaired soon

They are filling out nicely.... & tails dropped off.... I do love seeing them in the fields. Seem to have missed ours this year, we must have been away. I can see you would be eying up all the likely stones! What an achievement when it’s done!

Very cute.

A "wee walk" for you would probably still be a long hike for me. Cute lambs along the way.

Never too much cuteness! Love the scene!

Beyond cute! I have fond memories of lambs on the hillsides and in the roadways In Scotland.

@onewing Oh, don't worry, we don't plan on actually taking them home with us ... it was just one of those moments (after 6 days of doing nothing but) when you just start looking at shapes and sizes of stones and think about how easy or difficult they would be to place in a wall. Obsessive behaviour, I know!
