Smoky Mist

I wanted to post this image from Friday's walk - even though I feel it's cheating as I haven't taken a photo for a couple of days. I liked that the swirling mist made the dead tree look as if it was smouldering away.

What character this old tree still has. Its gnarly texture is complimented so nicely by the surrounding pink flowers. Pretty scene.
