This is the second of the pictures that my daughter has chosen for hanging on her wall in her flat in Oslo. This one required a little extra work, however. She found the image she liked, but it was taken on the iPhone, which is great for some purposes, but not for enlarging. So, hubby and I set out yesterday, back to the bridge to get a similar image, in the rain, I might add! I took several shots, some with hubby in it, others without. She chose this one - with him gazing wistfully over the river, waiting for the new fishing season to come around. :-)
I’m currently looking at art work. I have loads of pictures from our old house but none that I think will suit our new modern decor. Have been asked what I would like for Christmas so thought of a large striking print....so much choice out there but I’m enjoying looking!

This is going to look really nice on the wall- great leading line, human interest, strong contrast and perspective- plus it's her dad! And I love the black and white.
