Double Trouble

Quick i-phone shot, as I'm just not getting out and about with my camera as I should be. I feel completely discombobulated this week. Mornings of clearing snow from all the important areas around our house (access paths, greenhouse roof, drains ...). Days of worrying about dad and relying on others to keep him safe, the dog walked, the house warm and accessible through the piles of snow that have been falling. Today however we have very little fresh snow, and although a freeze is now on the cards, I'm now worrying about the thaw and everything that might mean. Let's just hope it's gradual when it comes or there's going to be an awful lot of water kicking about!

On a more positive note, we made it up to dad's yesterday, and he was fair delighted to see us.
Must be tough all round with the weather and lockdown.. With us down here who don't see snow it just looks pretty but I am sure it comes with it's problems..

A nice capture showing quite a bit of snow! I'll be sending good thoughts for a slow melt and that spring weather will be coming soon.

A lot of snow is a problem, but no snow is also a problem. During snowless winters, plants freeze.
