Spell check did not like my caption, as it changed almost every word! This little mouse was darting around the garden yesterday afternoon eating everything she could find ... but especially the seeds of pine cones. She let me follow her around with the camera for ages and at times I thought she was actually after my shoes as she kept following me! She finally got fed up though, and ran off. I say 'she', but she could have been a 'he'!
I can imagine spell check would work over time.. I struggle to make a positive comment on this shot but as I type I can not see it.. I have a mouse/rat phobia where others scream at spiders and creepy crawlers I am very brave but you can't see me for dust if I see one of these.. But great dof and pov..
I can image the spell correcting you had to do!! As long as the mouse stayed outside I would be quite happy especially as he was happy to be the star of the shot…see I’m calling him ‘ he’
..for some reason a mouse is a he! He does look quite sweet!
@happypat John isn't so happy seeing the mice ... they are eating things in our workshop and toolshed. We also suspect they are eating new plants in our greenhouse. I fear their days may be numbered ... but don't like to think about that!
@jamibann Well we had a very large rat on the lawn under the bird table…I was horrified! We always had what we called the rat man when we were on the farm, he came every month to put poison down. Didn’t expect to see one here in a more built up area. The guy two doors down has hens!! Vermin can cause lots of damage to all sorts of strange things!
We've had a few intrepid explorers make it into the house this year. Sadly they did not make it out. But that's what has to be done or the entire family will move in! Great shot.
