Checking out the information panels before yesterday's walk. We needed to do another recce of a walk for May's festival, so decided to get it done today. We last did it about a year ago, so were already familiar with the terrain, but I'd forgotten about all those peat bogs and general bogginess on the plateau. This was taken just as we were setting out, and as you can see it was a fairly wet day. Successful recce done though, ... our only concern is the amount of 'off path' boggy walking and whether our visitors will be ok with that. Most important thing will be to describe it properly, so that there are no nasty surprises for anyone in May! That's my next task ... write out the walk description.
