This was a series of images captured riverside in Canterbury when we encountered these ducklings who had strayed from their mum. Mum was quacking wildly in the water and the ducklings were running madly along the closed-in pathway trying to work out how to get back to her. When we came along they took off at a great speed, so fast that they ran into each other, knocked each other over, and generally there was mayhem! We were just laughing so much! Finally, after a few minutes we cornered them all and captured them individually; popping them back into the river with mum. There then followed a peaceful swim-by!
Oh, I'm just laughing here at these images, particularly the one with the 'wrecked' duckling that's tipped himself over and then running like crazy to catch up. Bless you for helping them get back to their mama; that's a sweet family picture at the end.
