That wasn't there as I remember from my last visit. Or maybe I wasn't in that area? It's quite dramatic as a structure. Well captured!

@taffy It's in the business district, out on the west of Paris,so you probably wouldn't have visited that area. It was started in 1985 and finished in 1989. The Roof Top closed for renovation in 2009 and just reopened on 1st June this year. The whole area of La Défense is much more interesting to visit than it used to be, with lots of pieces of art and new buildings. However, classical Paris remains the most interesting aspect for visitors. But I'd recommend a visit to repeat visitors to Paris, now that the Roof Top has reopened.
