Uninspired today. On my way home from a Dr n appointment , I had to hit the brakes a little hard and pull over. The cloud cover had hidden the mountain today, but it cleared just a little so I could see the tip. Mt Rainier from Dogwood Park in Eatonville, WA
@mamamia@aglennc - thanks kindly! @taffy - thanks for the fav, Taffy - the clouds were moving at a good clip! @byrdlip - thanks, J A - this was around 645pm-ish - out here the clouds were just lifting. @pflaume - Thanks Lisa - in the summer there will be a lot of Rainier shots - especially when we go hiking in the alpine meadows.
@swilde - Thanks, Sue! @maggiemae - Thanks Maggie. Sometimes as the sun lowers we get that really awesome light. I took some pics of the cows along the fence - the pics not great - I wanted Rainier in the background and the cows in the forground - but the sun was really glaring.
Hurt me!!! so beautiful!1 I know that feeling of not being able to see it and then all of it sudden it popping out when you aren't expecting it! what a gift and fabulous shot!
